• The stars in the flag of China represents the four different social classes united under one ideal.
• The cogwheel represents the working class.
• The compass was invented in China about 300 A.D. and were widely used by 1100 A.D.
• The North Star represent the fisherman's friend. It has been for a long time a symbol of guidance, dependability, and loyalty.
• Shanghai first began as a town of fishermen and grew into a famous city port.
• The circle in the cogwheel also serve as both the steering wheel of a boat as well as the wheel of a car
